Aeris Scent Studio · Experiential Brand Work · Imprint the Event

The event ends. The scent brings it back.

A new sensory layer for experiential activations. Aeris designs a signature scent for your event and sends every guest home with it — so the moment keeps working long after the last guest leaves.

Experiential and hospitality programs forge a powerful emotional connection on the day — then it fades as guests head home. Imprint the Event adds a mechanism that renews it.

How it works

One scent, designed for the moment —
carried home in every guest's hands.

Composing a signature scent
01

Design

We compose a signature scent built around your event — its mood, its setting, its story. A premium hospitality program, a flagship launch, a high-end retreat: the scent belongs to that moment alone.

The gift: a tinned candle and notes card
02

Gift

Each guest leaves with a hand-poured candle in a custom-branded tin and a card naming the notes and the occasion. A premium gift with recall built in.

The candle lit at home, life happening around it
03

Recall

Lit at home days or weeks later, the scent reopens the experience — delivering a second emotional impression long after the event has ended.

A single touchpoint, felt again and again.

The economics

A second life for the program you've already built.

Your largest investment is the event itself: the room, the hospitality, the talent, the travel, the production. Aeris adds a controlled per-guest layer that carries the emotional connection home.

The signature scent is in the air at the height of the event — and again in your guest's home weeks later. That shared thread is what carries the weight: the people they met, the brand they encountered, and the feeling of the night all attach to that scent. The candle brings them back together, every time it's lit.

  • ·A defined per-guest cost.
  • ·A premium object guests keep.
  • ·Repeated private recall, each time the candle is lit.
The Aeris Clock

Feel out a direction.

The Aeris Clock is a system we built to map scent the way a color wheel maps light. Use it to feel out a direction — then we take it from there.

Choose a lead that complements your event. As you slide it, we'll point you toward the sliders that bridge, contrast, and quietly support it.

Set a lead above — your suggested structure appears here.

Think of this the way a designer thinks of a generated color palette: a fast, intelligent starting point — not the finished work. Our framework can place a mood on the dial and suggest where the notes might fall. But the real composition — balancing a blend so it blooms correctly in a room, holds through an evening, and feels unmistakably yours — is done by hand, by us, drawing on experience the system can't replicate.

The dial gets us talking. The artistry is what you're hiring.

The science of scent & memory

Why a scent can bring back a moment.

Scent has an unusually direct relationship with emotional memory. A familiar aroma can return a place, a mood, or a moment before conscious effort begins.

The scent-memory profile

Researchers use this profile to describe why odor-cued memories often feel unusually immediate and personal.

Unlike sight or sound, olfactory signals reach the amygdala and hippocampus — the brain's emotion and memory centers — through an unusually direct pathway, with comparatively little intermediate processing.

Herz et al. (2004), Neuropsychologiaread the study →

Memories triggered by scent are reported as more emotional, and bring a stronger feeling of being "brought back in time," than the same memories cued by words or images.

Willander & Larsson (2007), Memory & Cognitionread the study →

Researchers summarize olfactory memory with the "LOVER" profile — Limbic, Old, Vivid, Emotional, Rare — distinguishing it from memory evoked by our other senses.

Larsson, Willander et al. (2014), Frontiers in Psychologyread the open-access paper →

Scent-cued memories tend to reach further back and resurface involuntarily — a familiar aroma can return a place or moment before conscious effort begins.

Willander & Larsson (2006), Psychonomic Bulletin & Reviewread the study →

A note in good faith: this is an active area of research, and not every study finds the effect to the same degree — the strength of scent-evoked memory can depend on familiarity and context. We link the primary sources rather than summarize them for you, because a scent studio should be able to show its work.
